AI Features of TailwindResume

TailwindResume includes a full AI Resume Assistant so you can create and edit a resume faster.

Tip

AI does not require membership. It uses token billing: new users get 5000 tokens on signup, and members get 50000 tokens each month.

What AI can do

One-click resume generation: enter a job title (for example, “Frontend Engineer” or “Product Manager”) and AI builds a full resume for that role. The AI page is prompt-first: enter the job title, start generating, then sign in.

AI chat edit: in the resume editor, tell AI what you want in plain language (for example, “Make the second work experience highlight management skills”). You get a preview, then apply it in one click. See AI Chat Edit for the full walkthrough.

Upload and parse a resume: go to https://tailwindresume.co/upload, upload a PDF or Word resume, and AI converts it into TailwindResume’s standard format. Progress is a timeline plus a live terminal-style log.

Single-paragraph polish: in the editor, run AI on one description to tighten the wording.

Block generate: from a job title, company, and similar details, generate a full work or skills block.

Automatic translation: translate the resume into English or Chinese in one click to get a bilingual version.

Multiple models: switch between large language models and keep the result you like best.

Token

To use AI, you work with “Tokens”. Tokens are the units large language models use for Chinese characters, English words, or short phrases. A token can be one character or a short sequence. You can use a token calculator to estimate how many tokens a string uses.

Billing: you are charged 1/10 of actual API usage. If the model uses 10 tokens, 1 token is deducted from your balance.

A full resume is about 300 tokens, so the signup gift is enough to try AI several times.

Please note:

Tokens cannot be converted directly to cash. They are limited to use on our platform and may be subject to certain restrictions and validity periods. Token value will be deducted when using AI features and will not be refunded in cash form.

How to obtain tokens

You can obtain tokens through various methods to fully utilize the AI Resume Assistant’s features.

New users

• New user registration bonus: newly registered users get 5000 tokens as a welcome gift, enough to start using the AI Resume Assistant.

• Membership bonus: members also receive token gifts.

  • Monthly membership: 50000 tokens each month
  • Quarterly membership: 50000 * 3 = 150000
  • Annual membership: 50000 * 12 = 600000
  • Lifetime membership: a one-time gift of 2000000 tokens

Existing users

Existing accounts get the same bonuses.

• Non-member existing users: sign in again to receive 5000 tokens.

• Monthly members whose membership has not expired:

  • Take membership end date minus today, count the remaining months, and round up.
  • Remaining months × 50000
  • Example: if your membership ends on 2024/8/10 and today is 2024/7/1, you get 50000 × 2 (rounded up) = 100000 tokens

• Lifetime members: a one-time gift of 2000000 tokens

Tip

Tokens do not expire and can be used even after membership expires. They can be accumulated indefinitely.

How to check token usage records

1. Log into your account

2. Move your mouse to the user avatar at the far right of the navigation header, and click User Settings in the dropdown menu.

3. In Personal Settings, you can see your Token balance.

4. Click Token Usage Records to view your Token income and consumption details.
