Share Settings

Through share settings, you can enable/disable online sharing and customize various display options for your online resume. Click the share settings button in the bottom right corner to access these options.

Enable / Disable Online Sharing

  1. Click the Share Settings button in the bottom right corner
  2. In the sidebar, click Public or Private under Online Resume Permissions
  3. When set to public, additional sharing options will be displayed

Accessing Your Online Resume

By default, your resume URL consists of a base URL plus a randomly generated 6-character string. You can click the copy button to copy the URL and open it in a browser, or use your phone to scan the QR code for mobile viewing.

Custom URL

  1. Enter your desired suffix in the input field under Custom URL
  2. When the input field loses focus, it will automatically check if the custom suffix is available
  3. If available, your custom URL will be automatically updated

Privacy Protection

By default, online resumes display phone numbers and email addresses in plain text. Enabling the corresponding toggles will mask the middle portion of this information with asterisks (e.g., 130****1234) to protect your privacy.

  1. Click the toggle switch next to “Hide Phone Number”
  2. Click the Update and Continue button at the bottom to save your settings

By default, online resumes display the TailwindResume logo at the top and various footer information. Enabling this toggle will hide these elements.

Show Download Button

Enabling this toggle will display a download button in the top right corner of your online resume. Anyone visiting the link can download your resume in two formats.

Show Share Button

Enabling this toggle will display a share button in the top right corner of your online resume. Visitors can share your resume in two ways:

  • Click the button to copy the current link
  • Scan the QR code with a mobile device

Show Dark Mode Toggle

Some templates now support Dark Mode, such as:

Enabling this toggle will display a dark mode toggle button in the top right corner of your online resume:

  • In light mode, a sun icon is shown - click to switch to dark mode
  • In dark mode, a moon icon is shown - click to switch to light mode
